the walter mitty garage
A SEMA Show car builder...
where we came fromTHE BEGINNINGFounded by Gary Pundsack, The Walter Mitty Garage was created to fulfill a bucket list dream of his to build SEMA show cars--and then exhibit them at various show events, and race them at drag race and high speed track events. He's the consummate car guy, returning to his car roots from over forty-three (43) years ago. The Walter Mitty Garage name comes from James Thurber's 1939 novel about a meek fellow living an average life, while having thrilling alter-ego fantasies. Kinda like Pundsack.
